Results of the International Conference ENTER 2020
On October 14-15, 2020 the international conference “ENTER 2020” took place, where the interim results after one year and a half of the ENTER project implementation were presented.
The conference opened with welcoming speeches to the conference participants from the ENTER project coordinator Prof. Jose Carlos Quadrado (Pro-President of the Polytechnic University of Porto), Anna Muravyeva (Deputy Director of the National Office Erasmus + in Russia), Prof. Alexander Sigov (Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, First Vice President of the Association for Engineering Education of Russia, President of the Russian Technological University - MIREA).
The organizers of the online conference, the Association for Engineering Education of Russia(AEER), together with the project partners, prepared a diverse and rich program, within which the participants considered the international experience of organizing pedagogical training of engineering educators, presented the tasks, and achieved results of the ENTER project, including the developed network moduleprofessional training program “iPET ”. The keynote speakers also presented an accreditation system for professional development programs and discussed the approaches for international qualifications recognition - registration of higher education teachers.
The topics of the conference aroused great interest among the academic community and more than 140 people from various universities and associations of Russia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Iraq, Bulgaria, Slovakia registered to participate in the conference.
The event also overlapped with the #Erasmusdays theefore allowing further dissemination of the ENTER project, outreaching different stakeholders worldwide.
The conference program included plenary sessions with reports by leading experts, presentations of partner universities with the results obtained as part of the project, as well as an interactive session to discuss topical issues of improving the pedagogical training of engineering educators, how to become a partner of the ENTER network and enter the international register of higher education teachers.
