The new online format for holding the project meeting ENTER, April 22-23, 2020

The rather complicated epidemiological situation in the world caused by the coronavirus lockdown, restrictions on the events organization, cancelation of flights and the closure of borders between countries, has a significant impact on international activities, including the implementation of projects under the Erasmus + program.

Despite the difficulties, the coordinator and consortium of the ENTER project decided to continue working on the implementation of the project objectives, adapting the approaches and format of work.

The next project meeting was scheduled as an onsite event to be held in Bratislava in April 2020 at the DTI University (Slovakia).

Taking into consideration the on-site event could not be realized anymore due to the quarantine measures in Europe, Russia, and Kazakhstan, the project consortium decided to adjust the agenda of planned events and not cancel the meeting, but to conduct it completely on-line. This is a new experience for all partners, but today universities are ready to quickly adapt and apply modern technologies to achieve their goals, both in the educational process and in fulfilling their roles in international projects implementation.

The new format for holding the project meeting, in addition to obvious limitations, provides new opportunities. Considering that there is no need to plan a trip and there are not any travel expenses to participate in the event, more experts from higher education institutions from partner and other organizations will be able to join the online meeting.

The main topic of the forthcoming event is a discussion of the syllabus of the developing network training program iPET for engineering educators. The project partners will present 14 syllabuses of the courses, which are part of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd modules of the iPET network program. All participants of the online meeting will have an opportunity to join the discussion, make their questions and give recommendations on improving the developed syllabus of the iPET program.

Working languages of the online meeting: English and Russian
