Tomsk Polytechnic University shared their results and plans with partners during ENTER project meeting hosted by DTI University (Feb. 16 – Feb. 19, 2022)


During the project meeting, hosted by DTI University, TPU delegates presented the results of the work they’ve carried out during the last six months in the frame of the international project ENTER, and stated the deliverables to be completed before the end of the project in autumn 2022.

The main result of activities taken place in TPU within the project was piloting of the advanced training programme “Engineering education teacher iPET-1” and professional retraining programme “Engineering education teacher iPET-2” from October 2021 till February 2022 which were elaborated by ENTER consortium in the frame of the project work.

Piloting of the third stage of iPET programme - professional retraining programme “Engineering education teacher iPET-3” is planned to begin in March 2022.

As a result upon finishing the training under all three of iPET Modules, the educators who have completed the programme will be entitled to aspire for international certification as professional engineering educators (ENTER register - https://enterprof.org ).

Moreover, Tomsk Polytechnic University applied for professional and social accreditation of iPET-1 and iPET-2 programmes which is to be conducted by the Association for Engineering Education of Russia (http://aeer.ru) during spring semester of the academic year 2021-2022. After piloting of i-PET 3 is completed, TPU will submit an application on accreditation of this programme too.
The results of piloting and accreditation of the iPET programmes will be presented by TPU during the project meeting in Kazan National Research Technological University in September 2022.
